Diastasis Recti is probably a word you just heard recently, or have never heard until I posted about it! Either way, I'm glad you are here and looking for more information. Here are some of my favorite resources for learning more about Diastasis Recti. Let me know which ones you loved most!

Podcast episodes I love for Diastasis Recti:

- The Practice Brave Podcast, Episode 7 :

Brianna Battles interviews an avid CrossFit enthusiast and mother with an extreme case of diastasis recti. (Check her out on instagram: @lisa.marie.ryan ) Listen to her story about how she learned to strengthen and manage her DR to get her ready for surgery. A great listen for anyone with DR, but especially a great direction for those considering surgery.

- The Practice Brave Podcast, Episode 17 : Munira Hudani (see info below on her) is interviewed about the technicalities of diastasis recti. Diastasis recti has gone from zero exposure to over exposure and lots of fear about this big word, but it doesn't have to be that way. This episode is loaded with positive messages for those with DR and how to live in the middle of the information pendulum.

-Women's Health Podcast, Click HERE for multiple episodes on Diastasis Recti hosted by Antony Lo, a major educator on all things women's health, but especially for athletes. Check out his instagram page here.

People to follow on Social Media:

- Munira Hudani, PT, Diastasis Rehab Physio

instagram: @munirahudanipt

Munira is at the front of Diastasis Rehab Research. She offers free information on her instagram and has a wealth of information. She also offers her own courses for individuals and professionals.

This account is all things pregnant and postpartum athleticism. The founder of the page is Brianna Battles (@brianna.battles) who offers lots of information, motivation and tips for pregnancy and postpartum recovery. (in my opinion) She is probably the biggest player in the education for pregnancy and postpartum athleticism. She has created free and paid content and courses to educate coaches and athletes (professional and average women) on how to navigate this time in our lives.

-Lashonda Jones, Postpartum PT

instagram: @ptrainershonda

Lashonda's instagram page is full of exercises and movements you can practice to start working on your DR. Every single post is helpful for anyone wanting to work on DR and/or core health in general.
